Sperm Preparation
On the day of IUI, the male partner provides a semen sample (or thawed donor sperm is prepared). Our laboratory processes the sample through sperm washing, which concentrates the healthiest, most motile sperm and removes seminal fluid that could cause uterine irritation. This preparation takes about 1-2 hours.

Carefully Timed Insemination
Using ultrasound monitoring, we identify your optimal ovulation window. The prepared sperm is placed into the uterus through a thin, flexible catheter in a quick, painless procedure. You rest briefly afterward, then can resume normal activities. We provide guidance on any precautions and what to expect in the coming days.

Two-Week Wait & Pregnancy Confirmation
After IUI, you wait approximately two weeks before taking a pregnancy test. We schedule a blood test (beta hCG) to confirm pregnancy if your period doesn't arrive. If positive, we monitor early pregnancy with blood tests and ultrasound; if negative, we discuss next steps, which may include another IUI cycle or moving to IVF evaluation.
